The Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies (RBIIS) is part of The City University of New York’s Graduate Center. RBIIS does not offer classes or confer degrees, it is primarily a hub for research, producing both scholarly and practitioner materials. Its largest program to date is the United Nations Intellectual History Project (UNIHP), which chronicles the individuals and ideas behind many of the large initiatives in global governance. Although mostly providing services and support for the UN and its affiliated agencies, RBIIS also has some projects involving non-governmental organizations and other independent foundations.
